Robert Irvine to Bring ‘FRESH’ Lunch Options to Pentagon

The Pentagon will finally have more healthy lunch options.

Robert Irvine, the celebrity chef who hosts the Food Network show ‘Restaurant Impossible,” will open FRESH Kitchen, an eatery that will offer take-out, sit-down and catering options.

Here’s what Dan McLean, Irvine’s marketing director, tells Intercepts:

Robert Irvine’s FRESH Kitchen is scheduled to open in the Pentagon during February, 2015. The concept is focused on providing guests healthy, freshly prepared meal options through one of three offerings; FRESH Express, a grab and go option for guests in a hurry; FRESH Kitchen, the full-service dining room; and, FRESH Catering, an option for guests looking for a healthy alternative for their next meeting or group event.

Irvine tweeted last month that he would open a restaurant in the Pentagon, news that was welcomed by those who spend their days in “The Building.”

TMZ asked Irvine about the new Pentagon restaurant. Irvine said, even President Obama and his cabinet members would have to pay if they want the eats. See more in the video below:
